Hallo zusammen,

vor kurzer Zeit ist bei meinem 320d E46 (BJ 2001) leider der Riementrieb gerissen. Die Reparatur bei Bosch Service hätte über 1000 € gekostet, was mir dann doch etwas zu viel gewesen ist.

Folgende Teile sind laut Bosch benötigt: Umlenkrolle, Keilrippenriemen 5PK2030, Keilrippenriemen 5PK836, Spannrolle, Riemenspanner und Riemenscheibe.

Ist der Umbau schwierig und erfordert viel Erfahrung, oder ließe es sich mit etwas Recherche, YouTube-Videos und Fleiß auch von einem Laien bewältigen, wenn man die richtige Ausrüstung besitzt? ;)

Es geht mir im Wesentlichen darum den Wagen noch weitesgehend betriebsbereit zu machen. Er hat zwar bereits seine stolze 380000 km hinter sich, aber hat jedoch noch TÜV bis 02/2026 und weist sonst auch keine Mängel auf. Und Verbrenner müssen leben. ;)

Im Grunde ist das alles selbsterklärend. Schauen welche Lager noch heile sind. Die kaputten abschrauben und die neuen wieder dranschrauben, Riemen drauf und fertig. Bei der Kilometerleistung werden wahrscheinlich sämtlich Umlenkrollen/Spannrollen hinüber sein.

Ja, ist kein Hexenwerk. Und wenn du Werkzeug hast und nicht ganz dumm bist, sollte das kein großes Problem sein. Gibt Videos auf YT.

Dann mache ich mich mal auf die Teile zu besorgen.

Mein E39 hat leider das gleiche Problem, hat wer einen Tipp für mich, wie ich die große Schraube bei der Riemenscheibe auf bekomme? Mit Verlängerung gehts nicht, da im Motor/Getriebe zuviel Spiel ist. Angeblich gibt es beim Starter eine Abdeckung, wo man mit einem Stift das Getriebe blockieren kann. Bringt das was, wenn der Motor sich dann nicht noch immer bewegen kann bzw. die Kurbelwelle?

um welchen Motor geht es?
Bei BMW wird die Kurbelwelle an der Schwungscheibe blockiert.
Die Öffnung sollte mit einem Plastikstopfen verschlossen sein.
Das ist in der Nähe vom Anlasser.
Die Blockierung der KW ist ein Standard Arbeitsschritt beim Wechsel der Riemenscheibe (Schwingungsdämpfer).
Wichtig ist, dass die Nuss oder der Ringschlüssel exakt auf der Schraube sitzt.
Wenn der Schraubenkopf rundgenudelt ist, hast Du ein Problem.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Es handelt sich um den 2.0 Dieselmotor, der auch im 3er verbaut ist der M47. Das mit der Plasikkappe hab ich schon gelesen, diese aber noch nicht finden können. Beim Starter hätte ich schon geschaut, allerdings ohne die Motorverkleidung beim Pluspol abzubauen. Ist das dort versteckt? Gibt es vielleicht eine Zeichnung oder ein Bild, wo ich das erkennen kann?

Die Edith meint, sie hätte in einem anderen Forum gelesen, das man hier keinen Schlagschrauber verwenden soll, sondern ein Spezialwerkzeug zum Blockieren der Kurbelwelle. Da wäre es fast besser, wenn ich das bei BMW machen lasse, bauen die auch nicht originale Teile ein?

das von BMW vorgesehene Spezialwerkzeug zum Blockieren der KW sieht aus wie ein mehrfach verbogener Zimmermannsnagel.
Ein 6er Inbus in der passenden Länge tut's aber auch.
Hast Du aber bestimmt schon mitbekommen, wenn Du die Videos fleißig angeschaut hast.

Mit dem Schlagschrauber wird denn die Schraube an der Riemenscheibe gelöst.
Wenn man nicht genug Platz geschaffen hat, muss man eben die Knarre oder einen Ringschlüssel nehmen.

Bist Du sicher, dass Du weißt, was Du da vorhast?
Wenn Du das Loch nicht findest, wo Du Deinen Schnuddel reinstecken sollst, lass es lieber bleiben...

Ist das Loch auf der Riemenscheibe, da gibts nämlich eines, falls das gemeint ist.Das Spezialwerkzeug ist doch für die Ausschnitte rund um die M18 Schraube gedacht oder?

Thanks for the tips. I've already repaired a few things on my car, I know how to change the belts, but unfortunately I just can't get the screw off. I'm very handy, recently I changed the fuel pump and the wheel bearings with a friend. Unfortunately I haven't found any useful videos on how to get the screw off.

Mann könnte auch den ersten Gang einlegen und die Handbremse anziehen. Dann bewegt sich die Kurbelwelle auch nicht mehr. Bei Automatik geht das dann allerdings nicht so. Ich merke schon, so einfache Sachen sind für Laien doch nichts. Sorry das ich geschrieben habe das das selbsterklärend ist.

Gang, habs auch schon probiert, das sich wer reinsetzt und auf die Bremse steigt. dreht sich die Scheibe trotzdem mit. aber im ersten Video wird gezeigt, wie man die Kurbelwelle blockieren kann, mal schaun, ob ich das zusammenbringe.

Ich hatte genau diese Reparatur vor 6 Monaten machen müssen, und ich bin selbst Laie.
Es gibt sehr gute Videos auf YouTube, dort kann man alles Schritt für Schritt nachvollziehen.
Das einzige Problem war bei mir die Riemenscheibe, musste mir etwas basteln, um sie zu fixieren, damit sie sich nicht mitdreht.
Der Zusammenbau ging recht zügig, besorge dir aber einen Drehmomentschlüssel!
Mein e46 320D hat auch schon seine 350000 km runter.
Konnte dir jetzt vielleicht nicht helfen, aber ich wollte damit nur zum Ausdruck bringen das auch ein Laie diese Reparatur durchführen kann.
