Thema: 325i, should i buy it?
----------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have been offered a white 325i Cab, 1988. The ABS is broken and the suspension
is making noises when it is bumby. The water pump is changed and the brakes
are new. No rost, The roof has 2 small holes that has been fixed and except
for that the car seems to be in a good condition. It drives well. The engine
noise when still is a little high but seems normal. Only problem is that the car
is in Italy/Italien and I need to drive it up to Germany.

He wants 1000 Euro for it.

3 Questions:

1. is it expensive to import the car into Germany and "turn" it into a German
car?

2. Is the price good?

3. Is there anything particular I should ask the seller for before buying it?

Thank you!!! Man kann auch in Deutsch antworten aber ich schreibe nicht
so gut in Deutsch :-)

Servus!

800€! Ist genug, hier kommen dann noch genug Kosten auf dich zu. Allein die Überführung dürft einiges kosten.

Good Luck.

I think the price is quite realistic. if the abs only does not work an abs sensor might not work, this is not so expensive to repair.

There are a lot of parts that can be broken on the suspension and i think this is the most expensive thing to repair

and if you need a new roof you can get it on ebay for about 500 € and find someone to do the work for 300 or 400.

he told me it could be a sensor since the thing happend ones the battery died and he used startup help. With regards to the suspension the car drove really well but the sqeaking noise was annoying though. Does anyone know how much it costs to bring it to Germany with Tüv, KfZ and to register it as a German car?? Cheers!
