Beitrag von: BILAL Date: 08.02.2006 Thema: G.I. Angel needs help!! ---------------------------------------------------------- I added his text from the International Forum: I'v heard sbout how cold its been over there lately so I know you guys are freezing your balls over there. Here is at an average of 45 to 50 daily. Oh my car overheated in Seattle this past weekend and got impounded. so 600 dollars later I got the car back home. Anyway, I changed the water pump and still overheating took off the thermostat..... still overheating, checked my oil .... oil was good, but water is not circulating in the radiator. And yes I burped it after I filled it back up. Does that sound like a head gasket to you? There is no sign of oil in the water or vice-versa but I think that it just happened from one day to the other and it hasn't had a chance to mix yet. Can anybody give me some advice because I'm about to take the head off and I want to be sure that this is the problem before I start tearing it apart. Can anyone help? ____________________________ http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/654931 A true friend is.... accepting their decisions, even if it goes against what you want. |

Autor: Airborne Datum: 09.02.2006 Antwort: ---------------------------------------------------------- Hi Bilal. Like georgx already said, you have first to check your radiator if that don´t fix the problem,u maybe should test your coolant for CO. your local dealer should have an CO-Test Device, which works with an Reaction-Fluid that will change color if ther´s any CO in your coolant. The fluid changes color?-> your headgasket is probably gone. When he build-in wrong, so it can not work correct. When he bleeding out the engine, the engine should stand higher as the other part from the car (lift up the car on the front). ____________________________ |
