Dieser Beitrag wurde vom Moderator Weiß-Blau-Fan-Rude am 13.06.2008 um 23:08:47 aus dem Forum "3er BMW - E36" in dieses Forum verschoben.

Becouse my M42 in my 92' 318is was shot, we decided to pull the M44 from my 97' 318is and use the engine block.

We have changed over the inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, kette w/radern, front covers and also using the wiscose fan clutch on the fan, but keeping the M44 V-belt drive on the accessories.

Hopefully it will start this weekend and we will get off to Syndikat Race Wars this summer.. :)

Have anyone done a similar swap?

Why you ask ?
Are you not sure, this engine will run ?

Ore you just interested to find out somebody else made the same in the past ?

Maybe if somebody have done this in the past would tell me if it will run. :) Either way, it will go in tomorrow and hopefully start on sunday :) we cross our fingers.. :)

and it worked..! :) the car started tonight on a 2 second "start up" :-) alles gut, syndikat wir kommen!
