So now I am of the opinion that I want to buy a sports muffler but now my idea: With normal driving a somewhat muffled sound and from 3000 revs a bit of the Porsche there is something that I imagine? For a 328i .

Hi, both the BMW and the Porsche have a nice recognizable sound but they are different. The motor architecture of the BMW is a inline six-cylinder and the Porsche one is a flat six. The sound of the BMW is more smooth and the Porsche has a rougher sound especially if it is air cooled. That's why the older Porsche cars are much louder and stronger than the newer ones which are water cooled.
