I live in Finland and bought a car from Buch, Germany.
but now they told me that the car cannot be picked up because it did not start.
they have replaced the battery and now immobilizer wont let the car start..
Of course I can get my money back, but I really want the car.
so is here anyone who can help me by going there with the computer? I will pay of course6
Car is BMW 330xd -2006
I find this on internet and my case could be the same...maybe?
"A bmw tech came to my house and ran the computer to tell me that the car was in immobiliser mode which can happen if the car sits for a while and the battery runs low or in some cases of people trying to steal the car. He recommended that if the car sits for a while to disconnect the battery to avoid this happening again. On a regular OBD no codes were shown for this. I got some codes that pointed to the sbsr and crank position sensor though even after switching them it only turned over.
After reseting the immobiliser mode it fired right up in under a second.and sorry if this question came to the wrong place :)
