Hey guys, I will write here in English because the German language is hard for me. My question regards about seals of Vanos. What can be other causes of bad VANOS with except of non-linear power and torque?

I'd rather like to know your personal experience.
I had a m52b28tu and noticed problems at idle, the rpm weren't constant when the motor was still cold (cooling water was in the blue area).
After replacing the vanos seals i did not experience any idle problems anymore, and i noticed quite some more torque at low rpm, which also resulted in less fuel consumption.
I strongly recommend the replacement of the vanos seals, the beisan seals have been perfect so far.

So the cause is rocking rpm?
