Greetings to all you can call me Dazza I am new to your forum, I have searched your forum and have been enthralled with the knowledge base, I own a 1996 E36 323I auto also a 1985 E30 323I manual fully option with factory lowered suspension. I have joined your forum for some assistance and also to be of assistance if I can. I am a mechanic and have done all my own repairs on my 2 BMW's as well as others. I have just completed the M50 manifold swap and am very happy with the extra horses up top, but have noticed quite a drop in torque in the lower RPM range. I have done a lot of research on this and found not a lot of help in regards to the E36 323I for software options to remap the ECU without spending a couple of grand I have a friend in Adelaide who is willing to dyno my BMW if I can find the software to do-it and this is where I need some assistance if I can ask. I know this may appear to be rude at such a time being a new guy to your forum I hope you will forgive me I look forward to any help. regards Dazza

Hi,
the most "famous" person around here for tuning oem ecus of the M52 motor-family is the user "Sven", he did a second tune on my ecu just last week.
I know the software he uses costs quite alot and it needs alot of knowledge because its not as "easy" to use as lets say a Nismo Nistune or Apexi PowerFC.
I don't think he is going to give away his knowledge that easy because he makes his money with it but I'll let him know about this thread, maybe he chimes in if he has some spare time to spend.
