Is there a posibility to make from m3 (manual) mirrors to m3 (electric) using my orginal e36 mirrors stuff??

I have e36 compact. And would like to buy m3 mirrors but this electric are to expensive for me.So I would buy a manual and by using my orginal electrical mirrors. Upgrade this manual to electrical.

How make it ?? And can is it posible??

I don't think it's possible, cause i think in the M3 mirrors are other engines

I think it is possible! I have buyed electric mirrors a few weeks ago and the engine was damaged. So I changed the the one from the original to the M3 mirrors. The only think you must look in the M3 mirrors there are 3 screw holes which hold the engine. Are they in a manual mirror? If they are I think it is no problem! And a good idea, a very good!
